Global digital infrastructure company, Vertiv, has officially opened a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, aimed at addressing the increasing demand for data centers and supporting infrastructure solutions in India. Complementing existing facilities in Ambernath and Pune, this new plant focuses on the production of thermal management products tailored for data centers, telecom, and commercial and industrial applications. The expansive 210,000-square-foot facility is equipped to manufacture cooling solutions ranging from 200W to 2MW+, including adiabatic free cooling chillers, large custom air handling units (AHU), thermal wall units, a new range of large direct expansion (DX), packaged DX and free cooling with economizer units, in-row cooling units, wall mount units, and rack cooling systems.
The facility boasts state-of-the-art psychometric labs for performance testing, a dedicated customer experience center, and design support capabilities. Situated in an India Green Building Council (IGBC) compliant park, the facility aligns with sustainability goals, focusing on reducing its environmental impact.
