San Jose-based AiDash, a provider of satellite- and AI-powered enterprise SaaS solutions, has successfully secured $50 million in a Series C funding round led by global impact investment firm Lightrock. The funding round also witnessed participation from SE Ventures, backed by Schneider Electric, and returning investors such as G2 Venture Partners, Benhamou Global Ventures, National Grid Partners, Edison International, Shell Ventures, along with other strategic investors. Ashish Puri, Partner at Lightrock, will now join the board of AiDash.
This latest financing brings AiDash’s total funding to $83 million across four rounds, according to the company’s official statement. With this influx of capital, AiDash is strategically planning to double its workforce, expanding to over 600 employees within the next two years. Additionally, the company aims to establish a European headquarters to support its growing global operations.
Currently employing 300 individuals, AiDash’s team is distributed across its offices in Bengaluru and Gurugram, with 250 employees stationed in India. Rahul Saxena, Co-founder and Chief Product and Technology Officer of AiDash, emphasized the critical need for advanced tools and technologies in managing the challenges posed by aging infrastructure under the strain of environmental change, which he stated is putting lives at risk.
Saxena further highlighted that the newly acquired funding will enable AiDash to extend its suite of solutions to more markets. The company is dedicated to addressing the evolving risks associated with environmental changes and fortifying infrastructure resilience.
In conjunction with its expansion plans in India, AiDash has secured an additional 8,000 square feet of office space in Bengaluru. The company is set to hire 150 professionals across various departments, including product development, engineering, data science, and analytics, throughout 2024.
